I thought we needed to at least mention "mobile apps"; I stuck it under "new types of applications" for lack of a better place. In particular, Tony Rizzo and the 451 Group have been major drum-beaters about the potential value of AJAX-enabled mobile apps -- although recently they've increased their coverage of AJAX in the enterprise, apparently conceding that mobile apps aren't yet a major category.

Ajax Programming Models?
I think it would be useful to add a section about programming models (i.e. points of view that the various runtime frameworks have taken with regard to what application code looks like). I'm not sure where it wants to go; I will place a first draft in the document after the Tools and Solutions section for now. Reactions and feedback welcome...

Clearly Differentiate HTML and Ajax
I found a couple of places in the document confusing with regard to HTML and Ajax: Is Ajax part of HTML? Or is Ajax different from HTML? In the "loose" definition of HTML, HTML includes DHTML and Javascript etc, which would include Ajax. However, in the strict defintion, HTML should only refer to plain HTML, excluding Javascript and XHR etc.
I suggest we make a clear position on this - refer to HTML as "plain HTML". Ajax is not HTML though it is compatible with HTML. So that readers can clearly understand the difference between web 1.0 and web 2.0, what is Ajax vs HTML, etc.
