2008 InteropFest Tasks

This page contains the list of higher-level tasks that need to be completed for the 2008 InteropFest. There is also a bug list within the open source project which is focused on bugs within the open source project (versus enhancement requests).

Open Tasks

  • (Jon) Create sample Ajax library with APIs and widgets (for testing IDEs and mashup editors)
  • (Jon) Create privileged widget that verifies other widgets for conformance to OpenAjax Metadata for Widgets
  • (Jon) Create privileged widget that verifies an Ajax library for conformance to OpenAjax Metadata (both APIs and Widgets)
  • (Someone) postMessage provider for Hub 1.1
  • (Someone) window.name provider for Hub 1.1

Closed Tasks

  • (Wayne) Create 2 widget repositores: one for the sample widgets, and another for InteropFest submissions - pubrepos
    • Ability to upload widgets (but only the standalone XML, not collections in a ZIP, which requires an admin to help)
    • Ability to remove widgets from the repository
  • (Wayne) Minor cleanups to make the reference implementation more understandable to people encountering it for the first time
