The OpenAjax Alliance updated its Web site on Feb. 9. The update reflects recent accomplishments and new activities. Highlights:

• 2nd generation of white papers. There are now four:
  • Introducing Ajax and OpenAjax
  • When Does Ajax Make Business Sense
  • Next-Generation Applications Using Ajax and OpenAjax
  • Successful Deployment of Ajax and OpenAjax
• Updated description of the OpenAjax Hub to reflect the alliance’s considerable progress on the specification and open source reference implementation
• A first draft description of the meaning of OpenAjax Conformance, the industry trust mark that the OpenAjax Alliance is defining and will evangelize to the industry.
• Description of the four new task forces, IDE Integration TF, Server Framework Integration TF, Communications Hub TF, and Security TF.
